Although both passes have strong offerings in the Wasatch state, the Epic Pass is by far the best deal for Park City Mountain Resort skiers because it allows an all-access pass to the largest ski resort in the United States. However when it comes to the rest of Utah, Snowbasin is the only other resort that is included. The only thing missing from the Epic Pass is a ski resort in one of the Cottonwood Canyons, which is home to some of the best skiing in North America! For skiers wanting ski-only resorts, the Ikon Pass do give 7 days to both Deer Valley and Alta. With this the Ikon Pass becomes extremely valuable to Park City visitors and locals alike. If you don’t mind driving a little ways, and want to ski as many Utah Resorts as you can- the Ikon Pass is perfect! It allows unlimited access to Solitude and 7 day passes to Alta and Brighton.
~Overall for PC locals the best pass is the Epic Pass- hands down!
~ Overall for destination skiers visiting Park City it’s definitely a toss up depending on if you want Park City Mountain Resort or Deer Valley
